Herbal Grey
It started with memories of my Grandmum—
her kettle whistling in the kitchen, gathering around the table with a floral tea cup of black tea, and always a splash of milk, stories spilling like the steam rising.
This is for my British Isle tea drinkers who delight in a warm cuppa P.G. tips. An herbal tea for the black tea lovers.
This is for the tried & true book lovers, traditional kettle users, who take their cuppa to their favorite chair by the window, and get lost in the pages of Austen & Brontë! Hopeless romantics unite here in shared love of tea and books. The ones who order hot tea at the bar. For the black tea lovers that want to drink herbal tea but aren’t there yet, or the herb lovers who want to infuse everything with a little herbal magic.
This is Herbal Grey—
my ode to tradition, with a twist.
Best sipped with a window view,
or poured over ice on a lazy summer afternoon.
Lavender for calm& ease…
Calendula for lymphatic love.
A classic reborn. 🌿
Iced Herbal Grey, is perfect for time spent laying in the grass on a lazy summer afternoon, or sitting on the docks with you feet dangling in the balmy water, for long morning strolls, and picnics, especially when made as a latte!
So how do you take your tea? Hot or Iced? Do you drink your tea with milk, honey, or straight up?
Story Time: I was at an traditional real Italian restaurant and I ordered hot tea which they brought with lemons and honey of course. I asked for a little side of milk and the woman looked at me and said “What are you British!” and I don’t know why but it made my day. It’s like the vampire week song “Irish and proud baby naturally”
Ingredients: Black tea, Lavender (Lavandulaspp.), Calendula (Calendulaofficinalis)
